About Me
Having worked in an office environment since leaving school, I was becoming increasingly aware of the effect it was having on my stress levels and posture. I worked in Human Resources and Sales Admin for many years and was learning that long hours, high stress and sitting at a desk all day were making me ill! So in 2015 I decided to take the plunge and follow my passion to work as a Holistic Therapist full time, having worked part time since 2005.
I first discovered my passion for massage on a short introductory course back in the late 1990’s. I went with a friend on an Adult Education 10 week course out of interest, but not expecting to get much out of it. I soon discovered I loved to give a massage as well as receive one, the feedback I got was so encouraging. It was amazing to see people relax before my eyes, and really enjoy the massage. I liked making people ‘feel better’.
I decided to take the Anatomy and Physiology in September 2000 at Guildford college and see where it led me. I’d always loved Biology at school so I loved this course! It led me to Swedish Massage, where my course tutor, a lovely woman called Rosemary Henderson, who I will never forget, introduced me to Reflexology. From then on I was hooked! I later trained in Additional Reflexology techniques, Indian Head Massage and Reiki healing Level 1 and 2.
Over the years I have taken a number of short courses for further education, including Reflexology for Stress and I am now a qualified Minfulness and Life Coach,
continuing my passion to help you heal holistically with mind, body and soul therapies.
